What I’m Going to Attempt to “Manifest”
If there’s anything TikTok’s algorithm is trying to make me do is trying to “manifest” things
It’s 2023, I realize that there isn’t much that I’ve done to change my life in the past few years. I have so much I want to accomplish, yet I find myself in the same rut, day after day, month after month and year after year.
Clearly, I feel I need to change something about my day-to-day for it to change to the degree I want.
So far I’ve changed my “affirmation” sentence like 2/3x but I finally decided on what I wanted it to be. So while I don’t think you can change anything about your life just by saying those affirmations, I do think that if you rewire your negative thoughts to be positive ones it can help you out a little bit. I’m also a somewhat firm believer in that you attract what you think. So if you’re always in a negative frame of mind then it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. That isn’t to say you should avoid your negative feelings but rather to not entertain every negative thought that comes to mind.
So far, I’ve been trying to remain positive with my affirmations and it’s been going okay. I do have my moments of stress and negativity but it’s okay and that happens sometimes. I let myself feel those feelings but I try not to linger on them as I normally would.
So I’ll come back in like 3 months time and probably have an update to this article to see if saying positive affirmations works out for me even a little.
