Things that I put on hold prior to having a kid was stuff like:

  • Being completely debt free — although I’m there like 95%
  • Learning a new skill maybe like once every 2 months or so; for now I’m working on a Woobles Kit that I got.
  • Forcing myself to make time for things I enjoy, I struggled with this prior too but now it’s even harder. Self care things like going for a run and making sure I take at least like 7k steps daily.
  • Having a consistent routine when it comes to my overall health.
  • Cooking something new every week or every other week.
  • Write every single day if I can. ESP since I enjoy it so much.
  • Try to read (and complete reading) a book once a week.

I try not to overwhelm myself with how much I have to do so that’s why I’m trying to keep it simple for now but I think I have most of it figured out.

Let’s see how this plays out.
